I have lost (probably one of my two kids) has lost my remote to my Harman Kardon DVD50 Dvd player. Harman Kardon wants 85.00 for a rplacement. Are there any cheaper remotes out there that can work on the DVD 50 ... I have aRCA universal 8 but that did not work. PLEASE HELP Changing by hand, OFTEN MArk kcesau3@home.com

The All in One or 7 in One remotes around $40.00-$50.00 even less, on ebay will run everything you have. If you have a decent surround sound receiver they usually have a universal remote. If you look hard like me I just picked up a Pronto TS-1000 for a client for $130.00 and a TS-2000 for myself at $150.00. These remotes are worth the difference of buying a new HK remote.
