Heretic, the Superbit disc is not another format, it's merely a higher resolution pressing, which means a higher number of binary digits (bits) are used to convey the same information, which results in a picture (and sound, supposedly) that is sharper.

Is it an obvious difference, will it show with your equipment, and is it worth the cost? The best way to answer this, besides reading posts from others and magazine articles, is to evaluate it for yourself.

FYI - My local Costco was selling all 5 of the currently available Superbit DVD's in a bundle package for $79. Not a bad price.

Slocko, It doesn't show on the Costco.com site. I've been told in the past that most Costco items don't 'overlap', meaning that the same items are not available both online and in the store. It looks like you'll have to get in the car and go there.
