Blockbuster wants to rent only Pan & Scan DVDs. We should not let that happened! Please click here and sign the petition to support Widescreen DVDs. I think we should at least have the option to choose which format we like. As an owner of a 16:9 TV set, I personnaly want to see the flicks in their original aspect ratio without having butchered pieces of the movie, but also because it's the way directors wanted them to be!

Thank you for your support!

How do they plan to do this, are the studios releasing alternate versions of DVD titles? I always thought this was a feature of the DVD player to set this option for 4:3 sets.
