Well, atleast now I know that I am not the only one. I heard this nearly a year ago when I bought the HFO DTS DVD. I heard the sound and was quite annoyed by it, but I never really investigated. Figured it was something with that specific frequency on my receiver of something strange like that. I am much happier with this answer.

I wonder how no one caught this in production???

Most likely it is an overtone from the bass or instrament which was discarded in the DD compression and not the DTS. Remember, the DD compression throws out alot of info which it believes is rudendent info and an overtone or similar echo could fall into that field. Just a thought.
