When I watch this DVD, the 1st interactive menu only pops up once (1st time I put the disc in the player), and I can't select surround format from the remote. I have to choose everything right from the menu. If I play the disc the 2nd time, the menu won't appear anymore. Instead the movie plays instantly.
Does this happen to you? I have Sony 850D Player. Thanks

Well, Fox has disabled the option to change audio tracks on-the-fly -- so even the auto-detecting Sony players are forced to play the default ProLogic track unless you manually change it from the menus. A pain for sure. As for the second item, I think you're encountering "disc memory", where the player recalls what you're already configured for that disc.
