After 1xSamsung 709 2xMatsui 110's and an Ariston DVD-2000 I have finally found a sub £200 DVD player that is multi-region(Via remote) and can play VCD's +CD-R's, got a nice remote and the unit looks good to boot!
It's the Wharfedale DVD-750 from Tesco’s
So for £180 of your hard-earned money, you can't go wrong with this one!
How I would rate the players I've had so far!!
1-Wharfedale DVD 750 (Superb Value)
2-Matsui DVD-110 (Very good, shame about audio glitches in some films)
3-Samsung 709 (Good, but crap remote control)
4-Ariston DVD-2000 (Rough, a waste of money but you would only realise this if you tried the others first!)

i've got the code for playing RE 1+2 dvds, do you have the codes for the rest of the worlds ???????
