Has anyone else seen the rgion 2 version of die hard with a vengeance and if so, has anyone noticed that there are at least two scenes cut out from the original film(the scene where he kills the 4 germans in the lift and the scene where he kills the guy in the truck) and that all the subtitles are gone when they speak German. Why is this, I think it is a con and would like to know if anyone else has seen it.

The Uk version of Die Hard 3 has been recalled cos it
contains the TV version. Take it back to your dealer
they will refund it and the new version is out soon.
Get any Die hard film on region 1 and you will be amazed at
how much stuff is cut out of the uk versions anyway.
The Vhs release of DH2 is a 15 cert, but the widescreen is an 18. The US DVD box set feels like a directors cut with so much extra stuff, but this is nothing to do with the above DH3 problem, just that the Uk versionsare heavily edited anyway.
