Hi I was just wondering if anyone else had the same problem as me. I had four (didn't have all of them at one time) DVP-CX850D and took them all back because they all had the same problem.

I would watch a dvd then I would hit the stop button on the remote then I would hit the green button on the remote and the machine would go to standby. Then I would leave the machine for about 15 mins or 2 hours.

Then I came back to the machine hit the green button or the play button on the remote the machine would go on for a few seconds and go back to standby. Then I hit the green button or the play button on the remote again the machine would stay on. It didn't happen everytime that I go to turn the machine on but at most it would happen two times a day or more. I got them all in Ohio. The stores are three came from Best Buy and the last one a different store Mentor TV . If you have this problem please write me thanks or try doing this and see if it happens to your machine thank you. I have called Sony and they are looking into it.
