I tell you. George Lucas can kiss my a*s. Go to this link [Link: dailynews.yahoo.com]

Fox announced they are releasing Episode I on Video but said it will not be released on DVD in 2000 or the forseeable future. Lucas and his failure of LD can stick it where the sun doesn't shine. Really irritates me. I would love to see the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones released on DVD. What is his reasons for not wanting to do this? Even though Episode I kinda sucked, I still would have liked it.

This is what prompted me to buy a Laserdisc player a few months ago. The players and software are cheap now as DVD is forcing it out and I found a mint copy of the Star Wars Trilogy SE for GBP50. You might have to search a bit though.

A DVD website called The Digital Bits
(http://www.thedigitalbits.com) has been following
the Star Wars on DVD "saga" for some time now...
You may want to check in with them from time-to-time to see what the latest developments are.

who knows what extras if any will be included.

i hope this makes you feel better and that the wait will be worthwhile and we get some good added extras
