If you don't like Widescreen but don't mind throwing your money away, visit this site and see why. http://www.widescreen.org Next time you go to the Theater and plunk down $6 to $10 bucks on a ticket, take a 5" or 6" cardboard box about 8" or 10" long, cut the top and bottom out and hold it up to your face and watch the film through it. It will give you the feeling you are watching your $3000.00 Home Theater with Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS system on your 4/3 TV ....Otherwise known as "Pan and Scan Goobervision".
If you aren't watching Letterbox films on a Big Screen TV yet...go to the site, go to your favorite Electronics showroom and compare the same film on a Widescreen (55" or larger set)to a 4/3 picture(they usually play the same thing on most all the sets in the store), and then arrange financing. Betcha can' leave and not wish you could take one home for the Cherry on top of your Home Theater..I couldn't

Oh yes...try viewing on a 55" or larger screen...

Home "Theater"!!! Now, that's what I'm talking about!!! You'll never go back!!
