At times certain DVDs will appear blotchy on the TV screen. This blotchyness appears as little blocks on the screen that make the picture impossible to view. When I change chapters on a DVD that is playing fine the blotchyness will instantly start, and progress to the point where the image freezes. The DVDs that I am playing work fine in my other palyer. Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Pete

If I recall correctly some Panasonic players have problems with certain discs and layer changes, resulting in blocky breakup of images. There are a few well-known DVDs that cause this problem.
