If I have a double sided DVD in the new Sony 200 disc changer, will it play both sides without my having to get up and flip the disk?

Easy solution: buy two copies of each double-sided disc and put them in so each side is available for play!

yes it will play "flippers" however you have to "flip" them manualy.The solution would be to insert two like daniel says.
