Do these exist yet? I assume that some manufacturer has them. I'm hoping that Denon come out with some at the show early next year.

Thanks, but too expensive for my taste. Audio/Video standards change too fast for me to lay out that much on a DVD player.

It's interesting from looking at the Marantz website...looks very similar to the Denon site. Are these two companies related?

All of the rest of my equipment is Denon, maybe they will come out with one next year.

Almost all the Denon's do now, starting with the $350 DVD-1920. The new NeuNeo player does. Toshiba, Panasonic, Sony, etc. Almost everyone has at least one upconverter with HDMI.

Go to Crutchfield.com, go to the DVD player section, scroll down and pick HDMI Output as a filter, they have 17 listed. Although some of those are the same model in different colors.

From looking at 1 review, it said that it had no DTS output. That makes it no good for me. Yamaha website didn't seem to have this model, had a DVD-C750 though.

Oops, looked again and found the 950 on the Yamaha site. OEX - Do you have one of these players ?

No DTS? That can't possibly be true.

Well, that seemed strange to me too. Doesn't help that somehow I didn't find the 950 when I first looked at the Yamaha site, but then found it later. Guess the fat fingers struck again . Certainly from looking at the Yamaha website, I see the back panel with digital/DTS output jacks (coaxial and looks like optical although their enlarged view chops off the graphic) - from just reading their manual..it does have optical and coaxial audio output.
