Got a TBX DVD player, good player but unknown brand.
I doubt most remotes will have a code for it listed.
What type of remote could I buy or would you recommend for this unknown brand DVD player? I read something about remotes which search through frequencies.

Well the One-For-All urc-8820 has 141 dvd player codes, which doesn't include the TBX. If the TBX is clone of another brand, there's good chance its in the remote. It costs under $20.
