Please help a non techie. I have a Pioneer DVD recorder and I cannot find a universal remote that works. I cannot even find information on the web that helps identify a remote. Can someoe help. My equipment includes: Motorola 6412 Hughes 10-250 Directv DVR Panisonic CRT HD47"
I have had no problem finding remotes that work for everything but the recorder.

Did you have to change the remote address of the DVDR because it conflicted with tivo? Many have, and you're not going to found the codes for alternate addresses in universal remotes. Get yourself a learning remote, like the URC-100. Teach the DVDr commands to it.
