Is it possible for a DVD to be damaged in such a way as to have the video play but not the audio? Just had this happen with a buddy's disc and have never encountered this before.
Thanks!

are you sure he is set up properly(correct setting on receiver & dvd)? can you put another dvd in and have it perform properly? is it a new disc, rental, bootleg, dvd X copy...?

What part of "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." do you not understand? |

I don't see how this would be possible. The data is stored in MPEG, which combines audio and video. More likely his settings or wires are messed up. Or perhaps the machine has been damaged so that only the video section works.

Is the DVD player a Sony? Did a power spike reset the dig audio to off? Is it only happening on 1 disc or all?
