I have a MX-700 and just got a Denon AVR-1705 (successor to AVR-1604) reciever.

I have learned all the relevant codes into the MX-700 without many problems... however I have problems learning vol +/- properly.
The remote learn the codes fine but I have to repeately tap the vol +/- button to turn volume up/down instead of holding the button down... this is annoying.

Is there a way to solve this ?

Also, are there any IR database or discrete codes for this reciever which I can import into MX Editor ?

Erase, and relearn, but this time hold down the denon vol keys till fully learned.

I've tried that... many times :(
I've tried both the press-and-hold and tap methods.... all without luck.

Sorry, this was posted in the wrong forum group... I'v now moved the thread here :
