i just bought Legion of Boom on dvd audio and cannot get my Pioneer dv-563a to output sound on the dvd audio or pcm stereo tracks. when i bring up the osd the player is playing the disc and recognizes it as dvd audio in 5.1 chanel at 48 khz but no sound is comming out. all my other dvd audio discs play fine as well as the dtses track on legion of boom. the player is only hooked up with analog to the multi channel ins on my yamaha rxv100. anyone experienced similar.

now, if i can vent a little, is it just me or do other people get angry when they buy a disc that has a nice dvd audio logo right beside a pretty advance resolution logo and then you play it and its only recorded at 48khz, or even worse, 44.1 khz. this drives me absolutely crazy, if a disc doesnt have a higher sampling frequency than a cd how can they call it advanced resolution. i know that the word length is longer but this doesnt apease me. thank you for listening, i think im done now.

HI,

Just wanted to say Hello. All that's a little too technical for me to follow but I WOULD like to say that not being able to hear a disc called "Legion of Boom" might be a blessing-in-disguise! ;)
