I bought a used Denon DVD-1600 DVD player, but it came without a remote. I wanted to test it out before I put it into my primary room, but, although I have an All-For-One which operates the unit perfectly, it has no setup button, so I cannot set up the player for my system preferences(such as 16:9 screen size).

I have already downloaded the 1600s files for my MX-700, but don't want to mess with the remote until I know I am going to use this player in my primary system.

Is there anyway to enter the menus to set up the player without the original remote?

Thanks for your help!

There isn't on my Denon, a different model, pretty sure the 1600 is similar. I think you'll need to use that MX-700. If you downloaded files from somebody, I'm sure they include the Setup button.
