The DVI outputs on the Samsung HD931 and Bravo D2 DVD players made them very attractive because my Nakamichi VU50P HDTV has DVI inputs and it seemed I would be able to get upconverted signals. But almost found out the hard way that since the DVD players are HDCP compliant and my HDTV, though it has the DVI capability, is NOT HDCP compliant and the money would have been wasted with snowy pictures or downlevel resolution. Would have been a lot of wasted $. Just so you know!

Try the Bravo D1 before its gone, (its been replaced with the D2). The Bravo D1 does not use HDCP.
