I have a client who records impractical amounts of soap operas on videotape, and she would like to switch over to impractical amounts of soap operas on DVD because this will take up less space. Re-recordability is not an issue.
Is there such an animal? The thing that instantly stops me is programming it to record.... TiVo would not do because the added step of dumping to a DVD recorder would make it a NO SALE.
This unit need not record any better signal than NTSC, you know, the one with the yellow plug.
Thanks in advance for the collective wisdom...

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything. "The biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place." -- G. “Bernie” Shaw |
