I ask the question because I have been copying DVD for sometime now using Elby CloneDVD. I just copied a dvd using Elby CloneDVD sneakpreview and I must say it KICKS ASS. The quality is MUCH better than the previous release. I have copied around 100+ dvd by now. With the 200+ store bought DVDs my collection is growing. Netflix and Walmart Rental is a great help.

That's nice, but I wouldn't be posting about it. It's totally illegal and big brother can tell who you are by your IP adress.

You have a bigger problem than where to get xcopy gold noahdrum. With 1300 DVD's, you should probably store your originals off site, in other words, at a remote location in case you have a fire, flood, tornado etc. at your residence.

At this time I would like to extend an offer to store the 1300 originals for you, at my house, after you have your back-ups made.

Just trying to help. :)

Look no further ...

I used this program to encode to my hard drive, then burn to DVD+R the flip sides of DVD titles I had before I loaded everything into my DVD changers. As a result there is not one DVD disc in my changers that I have to flip over. A DVD+R of the flip side is in the next changer slot. I also combined quite a few of the movies where the movie itself spanned across both sides or multiple singled sided discs. You can encode each side or disc, then combine them into one encode to rip to a DVD+R. This gives you uninterrupted playback which is pretty awesome.

I wonder why DVDShrink is still available, but DVD-Xcopy is illegal?

Because DVD Shrink is freeware and thus a bit harder to kill than a commercial product?

Hello- So I have an opportunity to buy a copy of "DVD X Copy Platinum " software by 321 Studio.Anyone familiar with it ? Once I make a copy on my PC will I be able to play the copy on my Sony RDR-GX7 ? Will I be happy ? Should I wait until the Courts rule again and possibly the laws change again ? I haven't read any negative yet, Thanks

Hmm, let's see. You're waiting for courts to decide whether it is lawful, but don't see any negatives?

What I meant to say was that I had not read any negative about the program itself. As far as the courts go how they rule will go back and forth several times before it's over.If I can copy a cd and listen to it in my car I think I should be able to copy a dvd and watch it in my car.As long as I paid for it the first time and it's not for resale or public view I think I should be able to do as I desire. My opinion only.
