Hexology would be the study of six. The prefix "hex" means six, the suffix "ology" means the study of.

And that should be out a couple years or less after 5/2005, which is the theater release date of Ep 3.
Note to anyone who cares. This is the SE versions of Eps 4-6. The originals without the 90s alterations are lost in the mists of time. Hope you kept your VHS/Beta/LD copies.

maybe a dumb question (like that should stop anyone) but what is hexology? Well, as 'trilogy' refers to a three-parter, I figured 'hexology' would refer to a six-parter. 'Sex-' is also used as a prefix to refer to six, but knowing this crowd... Larry

No, thanks. I'll wait for the hexology. That is also my intent. However, there were a lot of people here said they wanted it on DVD, so I thought I would put it up for all to see.

Unless you buy the trilogy on DVD from an online company in Malaysia. Got my set for $34.99...its the laserdisc trilogy formatted to DVD.

That's called a bootleg, an illegal copy. I'm happy with my LDs. If you get a good bootleg, the A/V is supposed to be no worse than the LD orignals, although I don't think they use the best LD version. Keep in mind the OT (shorthand for the original original trilogy) was never remixed to 5.1, it is stereo only. DPLII does pretty well with it.

I'm excited. I'll be first in line at Best Buy.
I've been saying it all along. I own the real OT on VHS, I own the SE trilogy on VHS, I have the Malaysian 5-star LD transfer of the SE on DVD (yes, bootleg), and I have the real ones on DVD that are currently avaiable, along with some making-of VHS tapes. I will be thrilled to part with another $45 to but this again on DVD. Truthfully, it will be mainly for what's on the fourth disc.

That's called a bootleg, an illegal copy. I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not positive, but I don't think you are 100% right. Yes it is a bootleg...But, it is not illegal for them to copy the movies in Maylasia. It also is not illegal to purchase them there. I had friends when I was in the military that used to buy Microsoft software (Windows, Office, Flight Sim, etc) for $5-$10 each when they were brand new. And it was perfectly legal to do out there (at least back then it was). But I don't know what the legality is as far as buying from them and having it shipped here.
