Sony should have a Technical/Service bulletin for the 530 and 330 lip-sync issues. This link shows what they look like (for a VPL-W400Q projector):

I'll look and see if I can find one for the 530 and 330 on this issue. I have a friend who may be able to get the official scoop on this.

My 330 works beautifully. I'll have to check when it was manufactured...
