I am wondering if anyone has one of these units? I was looking on www.epinions.com and could not find any reviews of it. I recently purchased a Sony KDE-42XBR950 and paired this dvd changer with it, I am hoping it will deliever picture quality that is justifiable on a $8,000 plasma.

Anyways, I'll let you know how it looks when I get it set up on Friday, but for now I was looking on what current sentiment of it is.

Thanks,
-----Nate

Use a setup/calibration DVD like the AVIA Ovation or Video Esentials DVD to adjust your set for the best picture. I like the AVIA DVD myself, but that's because it's what I had alot of experience with.

The player looks good, actually. There's some good information here:

Only complaints I've seen regard its apparently rather slow layer changes on dual-layer DVDs. Layer change delays don't bother me, but different things bother different people.

Yup, layer change is a little slow, but so far it has been great. Hopefully in a few weeks I will be getting a Pronto system to control it and stop using three remotes... aye yie yie! :P

The layer change is a little slow... but it's really not bad considering many movies hide it in places where it sort-of works... I'll say that I usually have to tell people before they notice it.
