djy,
It isn't a moral high horse. It's a dysfunctional passive agressive behavior pattern. Maybe he is a she. That would explain a lot.

Actually it's none of the above. I only wish that a basic standard of civility be maintained on this forum. You seem to be incapable of such. The forum would be much improved if you were to stop frequenting it, along with automan1 and steveTO.

The forum improved signifigantly after avgenius, a misnomer if there ever was one, left. This trend would continue if you were to follow his lead. I repsectfully ask you not to post on these forums due to your complete inability to maintain any standard of civility.

My user name looks even better in a larger font.
Thanks for the tip djy.

I aim to please - usually right between the eyes, but darn it, I obviously missed this time.

Reminds me of the scene from The Sound of Music, during the party, when the pro-Nazi commented on the lack of a Swastika flag.

"Captain, you flatter me."

"How clumsy of me; I meant to accuse you!"

Did you happen to notice that more of the "poor language" as you call it came out after you complained? This forum is very civil. Infact more civil than any other I've seen other than avsforum.com. Why don't you go there G50...They'd like you. They actually seem to want it so civil that they blow off freedom of speech all together. If prople disagree on things and say that the other persons theory is rediculous, they just close the thread so nobody gets upset. That's whats wrong with society today. Nobody wants to get their feelings hurt, and expects everyone else to change their habits to make them feel better. Those people have a weekness that is bringing this country down. Anybody hear about the lawsuit going on right now? Its a discrimination lawsuit. The plaintiff says that no devices should be able to be referred to as "Master and Slave" units. You know, like how dimmer switches in a 3 way cicuit have a "Master" dimmer, and a "Slave" dimmer that works with it. Next thing they'll say is that all billiard balls have to be the same color.

Actually, there was NO uncivil language here UNTIL G50 came.

Hmm, is there one out there for referring to plugs and sockets as "male" and "female"?

No it just means that people will start referring to couplers as gay or lesbian adapters.

I object to G50AE's use of "baaaahhhd" jokes. It is overt sheepism of the worst kind.

Since you do not OWN this forum I do not think you have any right to tell other people what they can or cannot post.

I normally would not post such language anyways out of respect for others, but posting a post to tell others not to do it seems like it would only encourage others to respond with that sort of language.
