Have now discovered that the Pioneer 868AVi is one of the new breed of universals (due for release next month) which has been designed, primarily, to work their new breed of plasmas.

As for the 2900, I'm not giving up on it, but it won't be coming from AV-Land. From my point of view, today's performance left their reputation a little bruised and battered.

CAN I USE THE CODES FOR 2900,FROM 2800 MKII?
ON MX 800?

I see no reason why not, though if you check the ir data on the Denon website you'll find the 2900 has 15 more commands available than the 2800II.
