Hello, remember the original issue?

The EZ-D. A 48 Hrs DVD. Buy it ($4-$5). Watch
it. Recycle it.

This sounds very much like a one liter bottle of coke. And it would probably be called "consumable," too.

I would not buy any software product that, once opened, had the life of a bottle of coke. Or even three times the life of a bottle of coke. Or four. Maybe a thousand...but since I still have a collection of 78 rpm records, that are direct to disc recordings up to 80 years old, you can see maybe I would not be interested in a "recording" that would disappear on me.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Personally I think it's a horrible idea, and I've even met someone who has something to with do it's design. I figure why pay $4-$5 for a DVD that is only good for 48hrs, when you can pay $15-$20 for one that is good for life?

MUYIWA...your lucky...thats cheap.
In Raleigh DVDs are 4-5 dollars to rent, but even then you get them for 2-5 days depending on where you got it from. I download the movies I know I will hate, but must see anyways(Tomb Raider 2, Charlies Angeles 2) and buy the movies I saw in the theatre and really liked. I cant imagine paying 4 bucks for a disc I am going to THROW OUT. Even if I were to rent a movie I might not get around to it for a few days, because I am a busy person. By the time I got around to it the disc would be bad? wtf

Well actually, the disc doesn't start to go bad until you open the package. Simply buying it doesn't start the deterioration.

Not that I am interested in this, it's stupid and will probably die an early death.
