Is it ok to place a DVD player on top of a Motorola digital cable box (DCT 2000) which has vents on the top and sides? The cable box seems to get hot when on for awhile. This then causes the DVD player (Panasonic DVDS35K) to get warm/hot on the bottom during playback of a DVD, even if I turn the cable off. Would it be better to place the cable box on top of the DVD player?

Always try to keep the top of cable/sat boxes clear.

Thanks for your input. I've moved the cable box on top of the DVD player as suggested, and everything seems to be working fine.
