first of all, i'm new to this site and am glad i found it! finally people to talk to who are as much into this stuff as i am! and know what they are talking about. and what i'm talking about!
my question...i was going to join columbia house dvd club and noticed almost all of their dvd's say closed captioning not available. yet when i looked at some dvd's at a store, everyone i looked at had closed cap. new and old ones. i guess if a dvd has eng. subtitles it's not that big of a deal (i'm just pretty picky) but does anyone have any clue why almost all col house dvd's don't have cc. if nothing else i can try to call them and ask but i get the feeling no one there will be able to answer that specific of a question!
thanks,

My suggestion would be to get some. We even find that the box labels are wrong about some disc features.
