I have a sony dvp-cx875p 300 disk dvd player i need to be able to tell the player to go diretly to a particular number disk, on the original remote the only way to do this is to press the disk up or disk down a number of times till the correct number disk showed up. very tedious if you are at 150 and you want 300 , is there a way to do this?

Yes I found this sequence when trying to program 2 of these POS for an elan system. Cleverly Sony hid this feature from even themselves because the results of two calls to their technical help department resulted in the telling me these units do not have this feature which I thought was absolutely moronic to have a 300 disc changer without driect disc access. but mcNAsty is correct with the above sequence. Where did you find this out mcnasty? I found it juist playing around with the remote out of frustration lol.

One thing I have learned in this industry. It is easier to pull a wire than it is to push one. |
