I just canceled my CDNow preorder (that had the 19% discount) and ordered Band of Brothers from amazon.ca. Use coupon CANADASMAG5T for $10 CDN off (expires 10/31). Total, including shipping (to Texas) and coupon, was $85.15 CDN ($54.25 US). The best price I've found!

How come on that site they don't state the sound format?

The price is posted right there on amazon.ca's web site. $89.67 Canadian (CDN) dollars, which is approximately $57 US dollars. Here's how the total worked out for me:

Items: CDN$ 89.67
Shipping & Handling:          CDN$ 5.48
Promotional Certificates:         -CDN$ 10.00
 ------
 ------
Total before tax:CDN$ 85.15
GST:CDN$ 0.00
PST: CDN$ 0.00
 ------
 ------
Purchase Total:CDN$ 85.15

That works out to $54 US (and change). List price is $119.98 US. Amazon.com is selling it for $89.99. I don't know why amazon.ca's prices are so much better. But for a savings like that, I'm willing to put up with a longer shipping time. :-)

Just as an aside, I never saw an entire episode, but I can ttell you one thing: the audio I heard in a shelling scene had some incredible dynamics! The explosions had some amazing impact. (Sure, 300W each into a pair of 15 inchers helps, but it has to be there to be reproduced.)

Can you fit DTS on a VCD?
