hello, i'm wondering if someone have already link a second DVP-CX860, to a DVPCX-860 ??
If someone have, then i would like know, how the second device works ? the first disc of the second device is selected by the 1 number and the "mega control" on, or the number 302 = the Disc 1 of the second device ?
And how to link the second optical ? directly to the amplificator or it's needed to connect the analog entry to the first device ?
thx for your replys ! Jake.

Jake:
It is not possible to directly link the 860 or 870 models together. It may be possible with a third party product such as S-linke. However, I think that each would need separate inputs on your receiver.
Sony has recently released the 875P which is 301 discs and progressive scan. While it does not have connections for a slave player, it does at least have selectable IR codes. Therefore, you could have both players in the same room and control each independantly. You still need two inputs on the receiver.
Maybe someday Sony will get it right and and add the ability to slave a player; I keep hoping.
