These are dvd players that will hold 300 dvd's or cd's. Does anyone own either of these? I'm thinking about buying one of them and would appreciate any input you may have. If there are other models or brands that are similar let me know.

Sony is just getting ready to ship the successor to these changers, the CX755D. SRP is $499, but it will be discounted at most places. You can check out Crutchfield.com for info.

Thanks for the info but I could not find this model at Crutchfield's website. Would really like to look at the specs for this player.

I have the DVP-CX860, and I personally love it. I have a little over 70 movies in it, and use a Pronto to select any movie I want to wantch with the push of a button. I heard Kenwood megachangers are better, but I couldn't tell you since I haven't tried one out.

Steve13 and McNasty:

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and bought the CX860 and I do like it. I have loaded about 45 DVD's. The system recognized about 10 but it was not a hard problem to put titles on the others using a keyboard.

Also I am using my AV3000 remote and have not had any problems.

If there is any advice or pointers (those hidden secrets) you can give me I would appreciate it.

Thanks.
