Clean the lens? I've used disc-cleaning solution on a Q-tip to clean the laser lens on my JVC CD player in the past. If the player always reads certain discs, and always can't read certain others, it may be the discs. If it's inconsistant, it's the player. Larry www.fineelectricco.com

If discs skip don't forget the manual or electrical SkipDoctor it really works. Changers static electricity or humidity seem to be the culprits.
