Does anyone have an opinion on the sony dvp f21 (the one that stands up) I'm considering this model because it can be wall mounted. Does anyone own this model? Thanks

I took delivery of an F21 two weeks ago. I'm using it to drive a 13" LCD TV on my treadmill. So, the 11" size of the player was a big factor for me.

As usual, Sony has put a lot of function into this little player. The display on the unit is very limited. Most of the function is controlled thru On-Screen Menus. It even has a "Quick Setup" feature. I have not had time to check out everything. Sony has the "Sony Way" of doing things and some of the functions are not straight forward so, I'm still learning.

I have not given the sound a good test since I'm using ear phones. The picture is great but, everything looks great on a 13" TV.

It is too early for an outright recommendation but, so far, everything has worked without a problem! At this time, I'm a happy user.

BTW, if you didn't notice, there was a $100 price reduction back in March. (now $199 MSRP)

Hey, Russell, have you considered having your treadmill power the TV for added incentive? A 12V alternator powering a 12V/110V inverter should work.
