Does anyone know what happened to the best DVD Collection Software around? It seems like the company IVO has gone out of business.

Where did you hear that they went out of business? Their web site (http://www.intervocative.com/) is still up and I was able to update my database without any problem.

Just because a website is down for a short time doesn't mean a company has gone out of business.

Here's a quote from their website (dated 2/26/02)

"DVDProfiler.com is back online thanks to the dilligent efforts of our hosting vendor, SkyNetWeb.
For those that didn't notice, we experienced a critical failure in our web server that took roughly 48 hours to diagnose, attempt to correct, and then, failing that, to rebuild the server from scratch. We do not expect that users will experience any lost data or missing updates due to this problem. We are continuing to Q/A the rebuilt server, so if you encounter any malfunctioning area or feature of the website, please report it to dvdprofiler@intervocative.com.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and give our thanks out to the many well-wishers who provided positive messages and diagnostic ideas (alas to no avail!).

We also have some good news for you - we are preparing a brand new server, upgraded in every way over our existing server. Once this is in place, you should notice improved performance and stability immediately. In addition to this, the new server will allow us to roll out several planned site and program improvements. Look for the new server rollout early next week, with site enhancements to follow in the coming weeks."

I guess I was just tried to get on during their 48 hours of down time. I also saw on PC World website that the DVD Download file was not available and I went into a panic. I use the program all the time and love it.
