I'm thinking of buying this Plasma screen. Does anyone know if it has any discrete codes?
Thanks
Rob

Rob,
Since no one else has responded yet, I couldn't find the answer one way or the other. As I frequently suggest with high end displays, contact the manafacturer and ask them to provide their codes. Many publish them or make them available to system integrators, installers, and customers. If you want help, generally they will be a matrix of hex commands, I can probably translate them into something that is useful.
I took a cursory look at LG's website but didn't find any thing on IR codes but it may be worth a detailed look.

LG have confirmed that their present range of Plasma screens do not support discrete on off codes. However they say that their next generation of screens should.
