Matt,
I am not sure that any discrete inputs exist but I did decode the only Sanyo projector that has a ccf file for someone in another newsgroup. Perhaps you may use the commands below as a starting point. The power command is two different commands issued sequentially; NEC2 device 48 command 0 followed by NEC2 device 48, sub-device 206, command 255.
Power: NEC2:48,0/NEC2:48.206,255
The rest are all
NEC2:48,
Command 1 DZoom+ 2 DZoom- 5 Input 9 Vol+ 10 Vol- 11 Mute 12 Image 15 Select 28 Menu 29 Right Arrow 30 Left Arrow 31 Normal 64 Lens 67 Freeze 70 Zoom- 71 Zoom+ 74 Focus+ 75 Focus- 91 Keystone 137 AutoPC
You don't mention what remote you are using. If it is a Pronto you can use a Hex generator like John Fine's MakeHex that can generate the missing codes for NEC2 device 48.
I would also contact Sanyo and ask for the codes. Sony publishes their codes for LCD projectors. Keep in mind that If you experiement with all 256 codes you may get into a service mode and could reset a factory alignment or color adjustment etc.
Finally many LCD projectors have RS-232 interfaces that have commands available not found on IR remotes. Again, if you have one, ask Sanyo for the codes.
HTH,
Jon
