Tried the Denon codes for DVD in the 'files' section but didn't work

Anyone got the ones for the 2800, also no JVC discrete codes in the files, so would really like on/off codes for my video if there are any!

Have you tried the ones in the Discrete Code section in the file area of this web page?

They worked for my JVC HRS 8850 although it wasn't listed.

Thanx Kevo, yes they work fine.. don't know why it didn't work before, guess I didn't do it correct before.

Cheers m8 - still awaiting Denon 2800 ones though, the Denon 2500's on/off codes don't work on the 2800..

Frustratingly, on their website they have an IR PDF for the 2800 but it is a broken link.

Don't forget guys that the DVD2800 turns on when you press play. Your discretes could be as follows.

Power on:
Play

Power off:
Play
.02 delay
Toggle power
