Has anyone tried to control a Bose LS28/35 using an ir routing system and had any sucess using a particuclar product. I've used the Xantech 78944 connecting block with 282M flashers and I can't get the unit to work unless the Pronto is used direct without the IR routing. Both Xantech and Bose were at a loss and they say they are looking inot to the problem, but I would like to solve this for my customer ASAP. Thanks for you Help.

Bose has an IR system? Pardon my ignorance at new Bose product, as a custom guy I don't keep up with it. The old lifestyle remotes were all RF only as far as I remember.

Try moving the emitter farther away, You may be flooding it.

I have done several, the emitter needs to be placed on the upper right corner of the display. Done Xantech block system, RTI etc and never had any trouble.

I have also used the new audio authority ir to serial converter for the older RF only units and it worked like a champ.

Be aware that there are two sets of IR codes for input, power and volume if you have an older unit that has not had an update done.

Best of luck.
