Has anyone used this piece yet? I need some tips on RS232 communication between a Xantech IRS232a and a Aegis Security panel.

Do you have the following?
1) Dragon Drop-IR 2) Using the RC68+ IR commands to trigger it. 3) ASCII only. 4) RC68+ Programmer.
Let us know.

I used lots and lots of xantech, but never used that piece. You may want to check out Celadon.com they have made me many plug-n-plat ir to rs232 pieces. Use them all the time these guys are awesome. Email me at hdtv9@aol.com if you need anymore info.

I have all the required parts. I found the solution to my problem. The Dragon Drop program somehow was configuring itself for the IRS232 not the IRS232a. Once I configured it right the communication was smooth. Thank you for your replies..
