What was Mitsubishi thinking. They sell a $15,000 dollar DLP TV that is not compatabible with their HD sat receiver. I have tried both the Mits and the RCA both look great on ch 199 but on all other channels the picture is way to soft for a TV that costs this much. I have been told by Mitsubishi techs that this is a 720p tv and to use the Panasonic HD receiver which is on iternal back order. Any one else left holding the bag on this misinformation from Mitsubishi.

Not to change the subject.... what have you done to to get discrete codes for your DLP...I can't seem to find anyone with the correct codes... any help? By the way I agree that the 15k was way too much for the unit...I've also noticed that std. satellite picture is very soft...
thanks

I use the Mitsu codes for the WS65903 on the RTI site. I have the Mitsu DLP and their SR-HD5 satellite box: the picture is fine in my opinion. Are you talking HD off the satellite or regular broadcast HD or SD broadcast? KDM
