I wish to convert from Xantech pallete files to AMX irl files in the first instance, but ultimately in all direction between .pal/.irl/.ccf. Are there any apps which assist with this at present. If not then any pointers where I can get the required file format information will be greatly appreciated. I will write the app and post it back here...

You may want to look at the IRL explorer software at RemoteYou.com. If you do such a thing, please post and/or email the end product, would be very helpfull!
Also, the IRLite program, which I believe is on this site.
