Has any one had any luck mixing IR & IF commands in a macro? I have tried, but the fisrt command (IR or RF) sets the format for the rest of the macro. i.e first command IR all subsequant commands IR even if they are RF.

Many Thanks

Big Al

Interesting. While I don't have a Pronto which supports RF, I did have a look at ProntoEdit and the ProntoPro TSU6000 emulator.

I noticed that in ProntoEdit both for devices and macrogroups you can set the RF IR attribute. However, on the emulator you cannot change the RF IR setting for a macrogroup. This leads me to conclude that the ProntoPro ignores the RF IR attribute in the macrogroup and takes its cue from the device setting.

From your post it is not exactly clear what you have done. Commands by itself are not IR or RF; devices are.

Am I to assume that you had an alias from a macrogroup to an IR code associated with a device which has IR enabled and another alias to an IR copde associated with a device which has RF enabled? If that is the case, I would have assumed the ProntoPro should be able to mix IR and RF signals.

If you have done something else, can you clarify what you have done.

I have all my alias's as macros(in the macro list not the device list). I only have one device that is IR the rest are RF and I do mix them but not exactly the way you are asking. I have a macro on my home page for the TV (IR) receiver (RF),sat(RF), etc etc. They are all called from their macro list and it works well.
