My last tv set just failed and was replaced.
It had a power-on timer that could be set to power the set on every day then off again
I recently got a new insignia fire TV and sadly this is not an available option.

I want to build something that will send a channel number(on with any button seems to work) , wait 30 minutes then send an off command.
Again, if no dereete ON Comman, gthen it could send 1, exit, 10,enter. This would account for the TV already being on.
Sleep command once for 30-minutes.

If I can't find a descrete code for off, then setting a 30min sleep timer would also fit the need

Does such a thing even exist, what doesn't require a phone and a wifi connection?

I imagine a crude bodge would be a dual alarm clock and the buzzer connected to a trigger on an arduino.

If you are willing to throw an Arduino and/or PI at the project, IR or IP commands could be sent.
