Used Quotewerks in the past and something before that I can't remember but last several years just doing the estimates with Quickbooks and attach any other needed documents. We are also very small with two owners and a few others part time.
We used quotewerks but it didn't provide the additional job costing abilities at the time (they may now). We switched to SimPro and although some learning curves (as with all software) we haven't had any issues with it. building you catalog is the most time consuming as you have to input each part manually (you can input CSVs as well) but would be nice if they were like D-Tools and already had a library of parts/suppliers/manufacturers that you can just select and it imports all the information for you.
