Anyone using any simple solutions to mount outdoor speakers to metal fence posts? We have a job coming up where the wooden fence is too flimsy to support speakers decently but there are metal fence posts where the speakers could be attached halfway up or so.

Thanks in advance

If you provided some detail as to the size and shape of the fence posts, that might inspire or remind someone of a good answer for you.

Meanwhile, go find a fence company and tell them what you have in mind.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Small channel unistrut, cut to size. Then use Unistrut conduit clamp to attach to the fence pole.

Use stainless hardware to attach speaker bracket to the unistrut.

Simple self tapper screws might work.

We generally start with a standard steel screw to get the bracket mounted, then swap the steel screw for a stainless one.

The unistrut idea sounds good also if you need a beefier solution.

My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

I did these years ago to raise these LS speakers over the wall alongside an ice rink in a back yard.  These I just set the posts and painted them with rustoleum spray paint, and then mounted using the spikes you get from snap (speakers were episode, would use something better now).  I didn't use the spike but the cup that comes with it that the speakers insert into.  They fit almost exactly on top of the fence post, after cutting the bottom off to open the cup up.  I then drilled a couple holes through the cup and post and secured with a couple screws.
