I need to split a cable box (1080p) between the MBR closet and bathroom. Was planning on using an HDMI splitter and going to each TV. The bath needs a 40' HDMI and seems it has to be an active cable (can't seem to find any that aren't active).
The big question- Will I have issues splitting the signal with one HDMI being an active cable?

Short Answer: No, it will be fine.

How are you not finding any cables that are not active? There’s plenty of the fiber based ones that don’t require power.

There's a device that converts an electrical signal to light, then back again at the other end, without power?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
