First, of all, Vinny (who seems to selight in giving me grief, for some reason), I don't do remote programming, except for my own Harmony, which I do on my fiancé's Win98 PC. The VPC doesn't seem to do Harmony with Win95.
Second, I do use VPC because her our computers are networked via our hub, which is used because we share a DSL connection.
The VPC program translates everything between formats simply by drag'n'dropping files into or out of the VPC window. I can even do a "copy" in Mac and a "paste" in Win95, and, voila!, there it appears.
Why do anything in Mac? There is so much that an older Mac can do better than a newer PC. It's more versatile.
To answer your last rhetoric, even she agrees that the Mac is much less troublesome just to keep running without those worst-possible-moment crashes.
Can't we just get along?
